Some of you may know her as the girl featured in Disclosures song Hourglass, or even as the daughter of famous Vanessa Williams, or you know her as one of the musical duo called Lion Babe. The duo is set to release there album in 2016, featuring productions by Pharrell Williams, amongst others. But the thing that you can’t acnore is… THE HAIR! Jillian Hervey’s signature look is an outrageous blond hairdo. Wild, bigger and gets better, it seems, with each appearance.

On august the 7th and 8th, it is time for another edition of the annual AFWL, Europe’s largest catwalk event of African and African-inspired design. As the event get more international every year, with people visiting from all over the world, they have invited me, as a Dutch blogger, to attend, what a honor. I cannot wait to get on that plane Friday!

Since 1975, the Kwaku Festival is a annual event in Amsterdam celebrating multi cultural culture at the Nelson Mandelaparc for 4 weekends in a row.
Tatyana Ali opens up to VladTV about how she feels about people’s obsession with her hair, while chalking her nice tresses up to good health and her genes. The singer says that she wasn’t always so fond of her hair growing up, because she was singled out for it as a kid, which made her feel a certain type of way.
She then talks about Chris Rock’s “Good Hair” documentary and how she wished he would have reached out to her, because she wanted to tell a different side to his story. Tatyana says that children are affected by the term “good hair” in both negative and positive ways.
